Looking for ways to showcase your creativity and writing? The San Lorenzo Library is seeking submissions for its upcoming reading, “Library Lit.” Send us your best poetry, creative nonfiction or fiction. Submissions will be accepted from November 6, 2017 through January 1, 2018.

Winners will be invited to read their winning entries at the San Lorenzo Library on Saturday, March 31, 7 p.m., alongside the library’s Peer Writers’ Group leader, Rosa del Duca, and featured local author, Erin McCabe.

Writing Contest Guidelines:

  • All submissions must be under 1,500 words.
  • Submit only 1 piece per genre.
  • For poetry, submit 2 to 4 four poems.
  • Attach submissions to email SLZLibrary@gmail.comput Library Lit Reading Submission in the subject line.
  • Remove names and identifying information from submissions.
  • Entries will be judged by a committee of three.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
