What:  Workshop & Discussion with Reginald Dwayne Betts. This event is for Teens, ages 12 -18. Teens will receive a FREE copy of the book! Mr. Betts will also speak and do writing workshops with teens at the Juvenile Justice Center and Camp Sweeney where Alameda County Library provides programming and library services.   

When:  Wednesday, June 7, 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Who:  At sixteen, Reginald Dwayne Betts participated in a carjacking and landed a nine-year prison sentence. Prisoner to scholar, poet and Yale Law graduate, Betts shares not only this transformative tale but also uses his experiences to speak about the American criminal justice system.
