Friends of the Albany Library

The Friends of the Albany Library is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization working to benefit the Albany Library.

Friends supplement library programs, services and materials with an annual funding pledge to the Albany Library. They fund the pledge primarily by acquiring, sorting, pricing, and selling donated books and related materials. The Friends also contribute selected donations to the library collection, schools, jails, and other non-profit organizations. They rely upon the efforts of dedicated volunteers who organize several book-sales each year.

Membership dues, and donations, are fully tax deductible (EIN# 94-3085229). To join the Friends, fill out the membership form and either bring it or mail it to the Albany Library, 1247 Marin Ave., Albany, CA 94706
