Centerville Library is a branch of the Alameda County Library, which
serves a population of over 523,000 in the cities of Albany, Dublin,
Fremont, Newark, Union City, and the unincorporated areas of Castro
Valley, and San Lorenzo.
Centerville Library, along with Fremont Main Library, serves the residents of northern Fremont and the nearby communities of Newark and Union City. Centerville is a small neighborhood library located behind the Brookvale Shopping Center on Nicolet Ave., just east of Fremont Blvd. The 6,000 sq. ft. library has over 44,000 items which include books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs. Some material is available in Chinese and Indic languages.

and assist the library in a number of important areas
including: taking books to shut-ins through the Senior Outreach
program, Internet docents, library tour guides and more.
