Another Pacific Commons figure by Mr. Demetrios.
David and Lucille Packard selected Mr. Demetrios to design and fabricate a sculpture that graced the entry to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for many years until the entry was remodeled. That sculpture now is in temporary storage. Mr. Demetrios has won many awards and participated in many exhibits. One writer, Jamie Lillienstein, considers Mr. Demetrios to be one of America’s great bronze and stainless steel sculptors.
