"Fire Station #8" , tile murals by Roberto Delgado, depicting overlapping layers of scenes of fire fighters in action. Fire Station #8 is located at 35659 Fremont Blvd. between Nicolet Avenue and Tamayo Street, across from the Brookvale Shopping Center. Mr. Delgado also did the tile steps to the Fremont Detention Center behind the Police Department off of Stevenson Blvd. See # 20.
Roberto Delgado studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Italy, and earned a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. from the University of California-Los Angeles. His murals can be seen throughout the world
