Chang Horse

Click Photo to Enlarge

Used as an icon by the P. F. Chang Restaurants, the Chang Horse was created by a design team headed by Dennis Hopper of Hopper Finishes LLC, Scottsdale, AZ. The horse symbolizes the original Forbidden City in China built for China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi. Privately owned. Composition material is a polymer resin.

The horses usually are located at the entrances to the restaurants to stand guard over the guests. This one is located at the P. F. Chang Restaurant in Pacific Commons Shopping Center at Auto Mall Parkway and Christy Street.
