Education and Literacy

We will be performing a systems upgrade from 8:30PM on Wednesday, May 24th to 2AM PST on Thursday, May 25th. Classic and Encore catalogs, and Log-In services will not be available during this time.


The Alameda County Library’s innovative Adult Literacy Program, Write to Read, provides educational opportunities to adults who want to improve their literacy skills. 


Monday - Thursday   10 a.m. - 5 p.m.                                         
Friday    10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
