Thursday, June 22nd, beginning at 9:00 p.m., we will be upgrading our catalog system. The catalogs (Encore/Classic), My Accounts and some electronic resources (databases) will be unavailable for 4-6 hours.
The Fremont Main Library is a Funding Information Network Partner of the Foundation Center. As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, the Grant Center, on the 2nd floor of the Fremont Main Library, provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic databases:
- Foundation Directory Online Professional
- Foundation Grants to Individuals Online
- Philanthropy Insight/Foundation Maps
The fully searchable databases include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders.
