National Library Week (April 10 - 16, 2016) is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. From free access to books and online resources for families to library business centers that help support entrepreneurship and retraining, libraries offer opportunity to all. The theme for 2016 National Library Week is "Libraries Transform."
We will be performing a systems upgrade from 8:30PM on Wednesday, May 24th to 2AM PST on Thursday, May 25th. Classic and Encore catalogs, and Log-In services will not be available during this time.
Alameda County Library invites you to attend one of its community meetings in April to discuss the future of Alameda County Library services and facilities. We are committed to incorporating the voice of the community and value your input. Community members are encouraged to participate in any event that is most convenient for them, even if it's not the one closest to where they live. READ MORE
