Teen Services                                   Teen Scene

Providing library service to teens is an important commitment in the Alameda County Library. Each branch has staff responsible for the maintenance of the teen collection, which includes books, magazines, music, videos, graphic novels, and audiocassettes. Staff can also provide recommendations and resources for teens and their parents to identify suitable reading materials. Many branches also offer programs for teens, and opportunities for volunteer service.

Free internet access is also available to teens at most branches. Only an Alameda County Library card is needed. To get a card, fill out the registration form and bring it to your local branch. If you have more questions or comments about Teen Services, please contact the Teen Services Specialist, Gary Morrison.
