Community of Dublin

Dublin is located at the crossroads of the 680/580 freeways and encompasses 14 square miles of flatlands and rolling hills.  Once the home to the Ohlone Indians and Mexican rancheros, Dublin was quickly settled by successive waves of immigrants to California that continues to this day.  In 2010, the population was 46,063, a nearly 56% change from the 2000 census.  The city has carefully managed its growth with new parks, a new community center, senior center and the new Dublin Library. In 2011, Dublin was named an All American City by the National Civic League.  Major companies in Dublin include Carl Zeiss Meditec, Sybase Corporation, and Hexcel.

DHPA heavily supports the Dublin Heritage Parks and Museums and the ongoing preservation of Dublin’s history.
