<p>Are you a 4th-5th grader who likes to read and discuss books? If so, join our monthly book club! Each month we read a selected title and then discuss the book and complete a related activity at the meeting. You must register in advance at the Children&#39;s Information Desk. This group meets on the second Monday of each month, September through June. Space is limited.</p>

<p>Students in grades K-12 are invited to get homework help from teen volunteers at the Union City Library in our after-school Homework Center program. Help is available for all subject areas. Homework Center is open Monday - Thursdays from mid September through early June. The program is closed on school holidays (as per the New Haven Unified School District Schedule) and on County holidays. </p>

<p>The Homework Help Center is a free afterschool location where students in grades K - 6 can get help with their homework questions. It is staffed by an adult coordinator and high school students, who are the homework helpers. Drop-in Mondays - Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Closded on school holidays and teacher workdays.</p>
